This configuration template is insert, update and delete Web sites configurations. The configuration root controller of this template is called age_web_config. The value supported by this controller is also a configuration object that consists of the following fields: •web_sites - this is a list of web ports managed by the Web Server (httpd).
This controller supports the following actions: •add - Inserts or updates one or more Web site configurations. This is the default value, meaning that when the actions qualifier is omitted then the default action is applied. •delete - Stops the selected Web sites, if started, and deletes the respective configurations. •start - Starts the selected Web sites. •stop - Stops the selected Web sites. •add_apps - Registers and initializes at run-time into the specified Web-side list of web applications. No web-site restart is required. •delete_apps - Unregisters at run-time from the specified Web-site list of web applications. No web-site restart is required.
Some additional notes: ✓This configuration template can be used in configuration collection with other templates. ✓Multiple actions can be executed in priority selected by the specified order within the actions list. ✓Be aware that the actions can be duplicated in the list, so use them wisely. ✓You can manage one or more web ports at once.
About the configuration sample below: •This configuration allows you to add or updated an existing Web port 8061 •The action sequence shows that firstly the web site will be stopped, then configured or reconfigured, and finally started again. •For demonstration purposes all these actions are listed one after another, however and most likely, on running production systems you will need to update only your configurations by applying add action. •In practice, you should use stop - add - start actions when the accessibility to the site is changed, like port number or socket type to HTTPS, for example. •Please note, that the Web site's options provided for addition will not merge but overwrite the existing configuration. So, you SHOULD always provide a complete configuration for your web-site. |
