This configuration template is insert, update or delete DB connectors to AGE's ADBC engine. The configuration root controller of this template is called age_db_registry. The value supported by this controller is also a configuration object that consists of the following fields: •db_connector - This is the identifier of the selected connector. •db_driver - This identifier specifies which ADBC driver will be used by this connector. •db_settings - Contains driver-specific settings, usually described within a configuration object. The example below shows the typical connector to MS SQL Server using ADO driver with connection string.
This controller supports the following actions: •add - inserts or updates DB connector. This is the default value, meaning that when the actions qualifier is omitted then the default action is applied. •delete - deletes a DB connector.
Some additional notes: ✓This configuration template can be used in configuration collection with other templates. ✓Multiple actions can be executed in priority selected by the specified order within the actions list. ✓Be aware that the actions can be duplicated in the list, so use them wisely. ✓Both the connector and the driver uniquely specifies the configuration in the DB registry. For example, you may have several connectors with the same db_connector value but with different db_driver values which could be useful when in your application you are referring to one db_connector but you can easily switch between different databases managed by different drivers. |
